This game played out just like a real battle between a shark and a duck would.

Do you know the way to San Jose?  We had to find that out, flying into SFO after Ben's soccer game in Seattle and driving down 101 to Silicon Valley past towns any Interactive Marketer knows well: Mountain View, Santa Clara, Cupertino.

This over-nighter is pure hockey.  We don't have a lot of time to look around, and frankly there isn't a lot to see.  Let's be honest, you don't go to San Jose to see the sights.  The downtown area was buzzing with Sharks fans, Giants fans (World Series), and Halloween.  It looked like the locals were having a good time.

HP Pavilion is a stone's throw from our Starwood property, and from a nice variety of restaraunts.

"I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out."  San Jose scored their first of many goals 36 seconds in.  The Sharks and Ducks had their first of many fights about 2 minutes in.

The Sharks were up 2-0 at the first intermission outshooting Anaheim 16-4.  They led 5-0 at the second break with a 38-11 advantage on shots.  Anaheim, however, led with penalty minutes 42-36.  There were 21 penalties in this game, 15 for fighting.  Turns out these two teams had 41 penalties in a pre-season game, so it seems there was some unfinished business.

"Limelight" played at 9:52 of the 2nd period.  Odd thing we saw:  Japanesetown
